We are excited to announce an opening for a Demonstrator in Computing & Mathematical Sciences at Birkbeck, a renowned institution in the heart of Central London. As part of the Faculty of Science, School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, this role offers an excellent opportunity to support the teaching team on the BSc and MSc Psychology programmes.

We are looking for a number of Demonstrators to support various modules including; programming in python and Java, data science and analytics, machine learning, software development and engineering and information systems. Remuneration
Payment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of continuous service with the College (starting rate £23.39 per hour inclusive of pro-rata London Allowance and holiday pay) for contact hours worked. This hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 6. Marking is paid separately for these roles.
Terms and Conditions
Fixed-term contract (3 hours a week teaching) for 1/2 terms. Closing date: 2 June 2024, interview date w/c 10 June 2024.
