Careers Information Manager

Open-ended, full-time (35 hours per week)

The Careers Service plays a vital role in enhancing students’ employability. In everything we do, we aim to open students’ eyes to the wealth of possibilities ahead of them.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring our students and graduates are equipped with the careers and employability information they need to confidently shape their futures.

The opportunity:

It is an exciting time to join our friendly team as we seek to harness technologies and innovative approaches to increase our reach and impact, and the successful candidate will play a key part in contributing to this. They will lead the creation, curation, and communication of expert careers and employability information and advice, driving student engagement through our digital platforms, and through in-person and outreach activity.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week) however we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.  As a student-facing team we work at least 60% of our time on campus.

Your skills and attributes for success:

• Experience in the management of information resources
• Strong digital literacy, with the capacity to harness and maximise technology to provide information that is accessible and engaging
• A data-led approach, able to use evidence of ‘what works’ to harness available resource to respond to user need
• High level communication skills
• Adaptable and flexible, comfortable with ambiguity and change
