This vital role will be part of a team of Data Managers working together across Institutes to develop and implement consistent procedures for effective data management. The post holder will provide advice, guidance and practical support to Principal Investigators (PIs) and academic researchers in ensuring the effective management, integrity and security of research data.
The Opportunity:
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a variety of distinguished scientists on a range of cutting-edge research problems and will include the whole data lifecycle from concept, generation and analysis to archive and deletion. It will involve working collaboratively with other Data Managers to establish processes and training that are common across Institutes, and which make it easy for PIs and colleagues to adopt good data management practices as part of daily research activities.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working; however, regular attendance on campus is essential for this role.
