The main purpose of this role is to contribute to teaching across the undergraduate programme in Art History; and, to contribute, where appropriate, to departmental activities and events. We are particularly interested to hear from applicants with a demonstrable ability to teach critical approaches to art history. The successful candidate will also undertake commensurate administrative duties.
Applicants should have a proven ability to teach Art History at undergraduate level, with an ability to teach critical approaches to the discipline being desirable.
Applicants should have a PhD in Art History (or cognate discipline), have experience of teaching in higher education, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Salary will be at the point 30 on Grade 6, £37,099 (pro-rata) with placement according to qualifications and experience.
