The School of Health and Life Sciences is now seeking to appoint to the post of a Regional Practice–Based Learning Facilitator (Diagnostic Radiography) facilitate the increase of practice placements and the delivery of the simulation across the region. The Practice based Learning Facilitator will work as part of an integrated and supportive team within the university and across NHS Trusts across the Northeast and North Cumbria. They will work flexibly to review, develop, and increase placement and simulation opportunities for pre-registration Diagnostic Radiography learners.
The postholder must be a Diagnostic Radiographer and registered with the HCPC. They must hold both a first degree or Masters in Diagnostic Radiography and have significant practical work experience in Diagnostic Radiography. The postholder must have a knowledge of practice-based learning and simulation activities within Diagnostic Radiography education and training and have significant experience working in a clinical radiography role.
Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post will qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
