Background
City’s Information Assurance Team is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Information Assurance Specialist. If you know that the answer to every data protection question is “it depends” and why, we would like to hear from you. The small but influential team, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for all aspects of City’s compliance with the Data Protection Legislation, as well as compliance with the Freedom of Information Act, 2000. Data protection is a critical pillar of City’s governance structure.
Responsibilities
The role holder will be a Project specialist; advising on key projects and workstreams involving complex data protection matters, to include review of DPIAs and contracts, and international data transfers. You will also work on complex Case Management, internal reviews and complaints investigation and annual NHS DSPT Submission.
