Richmond American University London is seeking to appoint an Adjunct Assistant/Associate Professor of Environmental Studies at the Richmond International Academic and Soccer Academy (RIASA), which is located at Weetwood Hall Estate, Leeds.
Teaching responsibilities comprise of delivering a course in Foundations of Environmental Studies (up to 12-hours of classroom-based teaching in total per week) across a 15-week academic semester beginning in January 2025. In addition, the post-holder is responsible for assessing students in the courses she/he teaches; developing the curriculum in her/his specialist subject; and undertaking departmental and University duties.
Applicants will have experience of teaching science within a university setting.
Adjunct faculty positions can be a good way to gain teaching experience and contribute to the academic community. They also offer flexibility and the opportunity to remain engaged in professional practice or other activities.
