- THE ROLE -
To support a healthy and safe working environment through the provision of expert advice and guidance on all aspects of occupational health and safety, including fire safety, through the development and delivery of the University’s HSW Management System.
- ABOUT YOU -
- A Degree or other relevant equivalent professional qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma) and eligible for membership of IOSH (or other relevant professional body) at Graduate Level, by examination or experience.
- Have significant recent practical generalist experience as a health and safety partner in an organisation with diverse working environments and activities (e.g. to include offices, catering, biological/chemical/engineering laboratories and workshops).
- Have demonstrable practical experience in the interpretation of health and safety legislation resulting in pragmatic solutions and advice for line managers.
