The Faculty of Health is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and dedicated administrator to join the Faculty Compliance Team. You will be responsible for supporting students and staff working across all six schools with a particular focus on the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences.

You will be based between our City Centre and North Campuses

The main responsibility of the Compliance Team is to ensure our students meet; the disclosure and barring service (DBS); health; and professional requirements necessary for them to commence and continue their studies and engage in clinical placements. We are also responsible for ensuring students are fit to practice and provide administrative support for disciplinary meetings.

Under the direction of the Senior Compliance Administrator and as a member of the team, you will be required to prioritise your workload, manage multiple tasks within deadlines, maintain various databases, collate documentation and arrange and service meetings and provide excellent and efficient customer service.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, well-organised individual with relevant qualifications, demonstrable experience and an excellent eye for detail. The ability to work accurately and flexibly in a busy and constantly changing environment is essential.

Experience of working in a student compliance / appeals / disciplinary role, dealing with complex and sensitive information and managing difficult conversations is desirable.

This role will require an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check plus a Children’s Barred List and Adults Barred List check.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
