About the Role

The post holder will be part of a small dynamic team, ensuring the smooth running of the Queen Mary University’s QME UEZ incubator.

There are four main functions to this role:

Sales and Marketing – Building a tenancy pipeline of start-ups requiring incubation space. This will be done via marketing campaigns and engagement through email and telephone. The post holder will develop and then follow up on leads, conduct site tours, and finally sign up members.

Facilities Management - Day to day running of the centre ensuring the space is clean and fully stocked, the deliveries and mail are received and sorted, and defects are logged with the appropriate facilities team.

Operations – Ensuring members enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner, invoices are processed and paid in the correct time frame and performance reports are produced for the Executive Team.

Community Engagement – Develop and deliver innovative entrepreneurial support programmes such as workshops, training and networking events for the tenants to increase the stickiness factor of the space. 

About You

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in customer and community focused environment. Be confident in liasing with SMEs, entrepreneurs and high level individuals. You will be a proactive self-starter and take initiative to market, grow and support the QME community.

About the Department

The QME UEZ incubator is a 5,700 square feet facility located in East London. Its purpose is to be an entrepreneurial hub for small digital health and medtech start-ups and help them to grow into commercial entities. The incubator offers co-working desk space as well as cellular offices for rent.
