Cleaner Porter

About the role

This role is eligible for the Campus Services New Starter bonus (£1,000)* and Campus Services refer a friend bonus. 

We are looking for a Cleaner Porter's to join our supportive and friendly Campus Service's team on a on full-time basis.  A typical day could include: 

• Keeping your designated areas clean and tidy 
• Removal, repositioning and setting up furniture 
• Emptying general waste and recycling bins 
• Directing visitors and dealing with general enquiries 
• Assisting with setting up conference rooms 

This is a crucial role at the University of Bath, and we are looking for a friendly and motivated person, happy to work not only as part of a supportive and friendly team but also on their own. 

You will be expected to maintain an excellent level of cleanliness in order to maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment and should have a thorough and methodical attitude to work. Due to the nature of the work, you must be able to lift and carry a reasonable weight. 

These are full-time positions working 36.5 hours per week. 

You will be expected to work 3 Saturdays per year, all of which, notice of at least a month will be given. Time off in lieu will be given for this.
