The Position: We’re looking for a Lecturer specialising in English, Maths or ESOL to work in our rapidly expanding team.

You will be working on a variety of projects, helping employers develop their staff, and employees and future employees create their own futures. You would be working in a flexible and supportive team, that are highly experienced and passionate about helping people gain new skills. We are a kind, supportive fun-loving bunch who would love to have you join us.

What skills are we looking for:

  • Experience of delivery of a minimum of any two of the following:
    • ESOL
    • Functional Skills Maths
    • Functional Skills English
    • GCSE English
    • GCSE Maths
    • Multiply
  • Full clean driving licence and access to own transport
  • Willingness to travel

 Responsibilities for the role:

Planning and delivering outstanding, engaging and effective programs to:

  • Adult learners
  • Teaching Apprentices
  • Liaising with employers
  • Monitoring attendance and achievement
  • Supporting Distance Learners through online workshops or one-to-one sessions

The Location: The post is based in our Nuneaton or Wigston campuses, although much of the delivery is off site. This could be on any of the college campuses or in the workplace or various community venues.

There is also the opportunity to work from home when business demands/timetabling allow. The nature of these roles is such that we aim to timetable around existing commitments wherever possible.
