About the role
We welcome applications for a one year fixed-term position as Lecturer in Religion and Social Science. This position will provide cover for Dr Ruth Sheldon who has been awarded a Leverhulme Research Fellowship.
You will have expertise in a social scientific approach to religion and will contribute to teaching on one or both of our undergraduate programmes: the BA Sociology, Politics & Society and BA Religion Philosophy & Ethics, plus and our MA in Religion. You will add to existing expertise in religion, ethics, politics and global societies.
You will have the opportunity to develop your existing research expertise, to expand your teaching skills, and to contribute to the administration and collective life of the department.

This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 31 August 2025.
