Role Description
The Department of History is seeking to appoint an Associate Lecturer in Medieval British history. You should have a PhD in an area of history relevant to the post and ideally hold an appropriate teaching qualification. You will have an emerging publication record in a relevant field with proven experience of taking responsibility for teaching and learning at undergraduate level. This post is offered on a Fixed Term basis from 9 September 2024 to 8 September 2025.

The successful candidate will be asked to teach existing undergraduate modules as follows:
Year Three Special Subject: Reading and Writing in Medieval England (Semester 1 and Semester 2)
Year Three Comparative: Work (Semester 2) (co-taught)
Evidence and Methods (Semester 2) (4 lectures)
The successful candidate may, in addition, be asked to deliver a combination of:
