An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Governance Manager to join the Governance and Assurance Division.

Key duties of the role include provision of high-quality secretariat support and progressing continuous improvement for the University's Council and key committees including Senate, Audit, Governance and Finance Committees. 

The role will provide adaptive support to the Council and Committees as required to include committee secretary role, minutes secretary, administration of papers for the proper conduct of meetings and co-ordination of projects within the governance function. In particular, you will be responsible for dissemination of complex information and will be key in ensuring this information is expressed effectively to various stakeholders.

You will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and process driven skills together with excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to handle complex and sometime highly confidential material. Your communication skills will ensure clarity of messaging to stakeholders at all levels. You will demonstrate diplomacy and tact. Strong digital skills are essential as we continue to use a wide range of technical solutions in our pursuit of strong corporate governance.

This full-time post is available from 14 August 2024 on an indefinite basis.
