Turning Passion into Purpose. London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting for the post of an Academic Quality Enhancement Officer to work within our Systems team. 

This role presents a unique opportunity for the appointed candidate to contribute significantly to upholding and improving academic standards and quality throughout the institution. Collaborating closely with our Teaching Quality and Enhancement team, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of data and supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing teaching and learning practices. Additionally, there will be opportunities to engage in report creation and assist with optional module registration, providing valuable experience in data management and student support services.

About You:

We are seeking candidates who possess the following skills and experience:

  • Proficiency in understanding complex systems and associated processes, particularly at a detailed level, and utilising this understanding to troubleshoot issues and implement effective improvements.
  • Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as experience with large multi-user and web-based tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work meticulously and accurately, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in effectively communicating and collaborating with academic and professional services staff across all levels.
  • Working knowledge of how the curriculum interconnects with students' lifecycle processes and various systems.
