About the Role

  • Line management responsibilities and will require the post-holder to manage the Senior Infrastructure Engineers.
  • Deputise for the Head of IT when absent.
  • Work with the Head of IT and key stakeholders to manage the competing priorities and demands made of the team’s finite resource.
  • Design and implement security solutions that protect the organisation's systems, networks, and applications.
  • Drive innovation in security solutions, addressing current vulnerabilities and anticipating future risk
  • Conduct regular system & network security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate them
  • Responsible for maintaining technical documentation, and work with the team and stakeholders to produce end-user guidance and training materials
  • Although flexible the role requires an onsite presence, minimum 2 days a week.

About You

  • Background in Cybersecurity or Information Security.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies including AAD, Conditional Access, Privilege Identity Management (PIM), Intune / MDM /MAM
  • Strong technical knowledge of Networking & Firewalls (Fault identification and rectification). Solid understanding of Layer 2 and 3 switching.
  • Ability to triage and assess Cyber Security Events and Incidents at the moment of notification to determine impact, actions necessary, make recommendations for remedial action & investigative process / analysis to find root cause
  • Knowledge of InfoSec frameworks and best practice such as NIST, ISO27001 & PCI DSS
  • Exposure to ITIL framework
