Brunel Medical School welcomed its first intake of medical students to the 5-year programme in September 2022. Currently all students are international, with UK ‘home’ students joining in September 2024. There is also an established 2-year Physician Associate MSc programme.
Our admissions team at Brunel University London plays a critical role in our students’ journeys. As one of the first points of contact with the University, we pride ourselves on being approachable, fair, transparent and consistent when assessing applications and supporting students to enrol.
The Admissions Office is seeking a Senior Admissions and Selection Officer (Brunel Medical School). You will lead the BMS Admissions and Selection team, managing the applicant journey, from enquiries to application to enrolment, for both the MBBS programme (UK and international students) and the Physician Associate programme (predominantly UK students). The scope of work will include communication with potential applicants, the management of Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI’s), admission decisions for candidates, and the full enrolment process. The role will also involve participation in international recruitment, which may include some overseas travel, and local widening access initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an outgoing, suitably experienced Admissions professional and an opportunity to join at a time of significant growth.
We offer a generous annual leave package plus discretionary University closure days, excellent training and development opportunities as well as a great occupational pension scheme and a range of health-related support. The University is committed to a hybrid working approach.
