An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Better Outcomes in Motor Neuron Disease (MND) research team, supporting the team to ensure the delivery of high-class clinical research. The key responsibilities of this role are to work on clinical research projects focusing on the supportive and symptomatic management of people with MND and people with dementia. You will have the opportunity to assist in the design, set-up and conduct of mixed-methods health services research projects using qualitative interviews, ethnographic observations, focus groups, surveys and data collected from healthcare providers. This will include writing protocols and other relevant supporting documents; assist with submissions for ethical, governance and regulatory approvals; be actively involved in participant consent, data collection and data analysis; and research findings dissemination.
You will need to possess excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to meet deadlines. You will be working across several research projects, providing the opportunity to work with multiple researchers. Interest in healthcare research, including telehealth, psychosocial and psychotherapeutic interventions, would be well aligned to the current research portfolio.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
