Legal Counsel (Commercial)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our Legal Services team in the role of Legal Counsel (Commercial)

The Legal Services team provides legal advice and support, compliance, and general risk management insight across the entire University, working with colleagues in academic schools and professional services teams.

• The role is ideal for a qualified solicitor or equivalent lawyer with specialist knowledge in contract and commercial law.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts including partnership agreements, collaboration agreements, joint ventures, franchise and validation agreements, and a range of documentation covering the University’s international and apprenticeship work.
