Teaching Governance Administrator

The Opportunity:

You will play a key role in ensuring that teaching and student services policies and procedures, including quality assurance, are embedded and completed to the required standard within the correct time frame and with an enhancement focused approach. You will act as a key point of contact for day-to-day support and advice for academic and professional services staff on matters of quality assurance and procedures.

This post is open ended available from August 2024.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and requires regular on-campus working. Some hybrid working may be possible but cannot be guaranteed. 

Your skills and attributes for success:

• Vocational qualifications (N/SVQ 3, ONC or equivalent) plus typically 2 years’ work experience in a relevant role, or School education to standard grade or equivalent plus typically 3 years’ relevant work experience (Desirable).
• Proven ability to understand, explain, and work with regulations and requirements, and policy and procedures
• Previous experience of contributing significantly to change processes and service enhancement within an educational environment (Desirable).
• Resilience, resourcefulness and initiative, in combination with ability to work well as part of a team
• Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to work calmly under pressure, to plan and to prioritise
