About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join the BGS Isotope Laboratories in Keyworth, Nottingham to provide technical expertise and science support as part of a larger workflow for the isotopic characterisation of rocks and other environmental materials. About you
All relevant training will be provided but previous experience in a clean chemical laboratory environment would be highly desirable.
You will gain experience in a world-class analytical geoscience laboratory, working in isotope geochemistry and geochronology as part of a small team, heavily reliant on each other to deliver objectives, working with internal and external visitors to the lab.
In addition to being a great teammate, you will be flexible, capable of working unsupervised, and be able to show initiative and take personal responsibility for your work and your Continuing Professional Development.
