Opportunity Overview
An opportunity has arisen to join research activities in our expanding Smart Urban Futures (SURF) research group in the area of Nature Based Solution and Urban Green Infrastructure. Professor Hisham Elkadi has recently been funded for several research projects, including the IGNITION Project, that require support in the collection, analysis of data collected from a number of IoT devices.
The role will require the applicant to work flexibly as part of a team to undertake a number of funded research projects in the field. The role will also require the applicant to work on his or her own initiative and identify opportunities for the group. You should be able to work in a fast moving and strong team environment, with a requirement to support other colleagues.
The post is maternity cover for a period of 9 months on a part-time (0.5 FTE) basis.
