This is a unique opportunity to join at a pivotal moment for the Library as we embark on the transformation of our services and launch a new strategy. We are looking for inspiring, credible, and authentic team players.
This is an opportunity to join the learning space team responsible for the general building operations of Library spaces. This includes supporting the maintenance of facilities and equipment by reporting faults, and maintaining up to date and accurate data on IT equipment, as well as managing building furnishings, office equipment and supplies. The team supports the procurement of goods and services, as well as ensuring Library spaces are safe in relation to health and safety and routine risk assessments.
The successful candidates will provide support for all Library spaces ensuring facilities are appropriate and accessible. It’s an opportunity to support the operational delivery and development of excellent library spaces.
This role will work 18.25 hours, 0.5FTE, all year round. Hours of work are Wednesday 09:00-13:15, Thursday 09:00-17:30, Friday 09:00-16:30
About you
We are looking for outstanding candidates to join our Learning space team in support for the day-to-day provision of Learning Spaces.
You will be customer focused with a strong commitment to the provision of a high-quality learning spaces within a busy customer orientated environment. You will have a good working knowledge of health and safety issues, experience of delivering training, and have good interpersonal skills.
With the ability to work with a diverse range of people. You will be willing to learn, keen to take on new challenges and be able to work in a constantly evolving, busy customer focused environment. You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic.
