Part-time, 21 hours per week
We are seeking a College Nurse to join our team in the Welfare Department. The successful candidate will will be expected to work with the other college nurses and wider-pastoral team to deliver a health and welfare service to students. This will be through accurate assessment and appropriate response to medical situations, patient presentations and welfare needs, and recognising if, when, where and how these should be treated. They will engage with individual students on issues affecting their health, wellbeing and welfare (including the triaging of individual cases and providing medical care). Being able to recognise serious conditions, where immediate referral is required, and maintaining accurate notes and records are important skills for this role.
