About the Role
This exciting post presents a great opportunity for a self-motivated, experienced Research and Trial Manager to work on a multi-site CE-marked medical device AI study (1.0 FTE).
The primary focus of this role will be to coordinate and manage ‘Artificial intelligence-assisted magnetic resonance imaging for quality, efficiency and equity in the NHS care of multiple sclerosis’ (AssistMS) in collaboration with the lead research team based at the Blizard Institute (Centre for Neuroscience, Surgery and Trauma) and the commercial company co-lead of the project, Icometrix. If successful, this study has the potential to be high visibility and high impact across the NHS.
About You
Previous experience in coordinating/managing a multi-site CTIMP or medical device study is essential as is some experience in research management. Previous experience in multiple sclerosis trials would be beneficial.
About the Faculty/Institute
The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is one of the largest of six Institutes within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London. The Institute comprises approximately 400 staff based in four academic Centres and one Public Engagement Centre and supports a combined total of c750 postgraduate research and taught students. The Institute aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching, and clinical service.
