We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join the Antigen Discovery Group (Ternette Laboratory) in the Division of Cell Signalling and Immunology as a computational postdoctoral research associate to contribute to the implementation and extension of our liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS)-based antigen discovery pipeline (MARS, https://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-023-44460-z). This position is fixed-term for 2.5 years.
The Antigen Discovery Group aims to decipher the molecular architecture of the Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) processing and presentation machinery and study the effects of its function on T cell recognition in several disease models, including cancer.
The post is suited to an individual with highly specialised experience in high-performance programming and software engineering and considerable programming experience; with particular focus on qualitative and quantitative analysis of peptide mass spectra and post processing of LC-MS datasets. In addition to an understanding of complex LC-MS data and advanced programming skills, the ideal candidate has a track record of training staff and contributing to LC- MS-based research projects and statistical assessment of large-scale data.
