We are delighted to offer a unique opportunity for a diligent and detail-oriented Planning Officer (Statutory Returns) to join the highly regarded Planning and Business Intelligence service at the University of Huddersfield. This role is integral in supporting our efforts in providing accurate and timely data submissions to various statutory regulators, including the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) and the Department for Education (DfE).
This vital role arises at a transformative time as we build on our successful HESA's Data Futures programme. It's a chance for you to be part of revolutionising how we generate, process, and analyse our student data, helping to both meet our regulatory responsibilities and provide a foundation for the strategic use of data across the University.
Responsibilities include close collaboration with the Data Returns team and Planning Team, as well as a variety of stakeholders outside the service to successfully and accurately prepare our regulatory returns.
We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
The University is deeply committed to equality and diversity for all its students and staff. We seek to be diverse and inclusive, supporting individuals and groups to fulfil their potential and nurture a sense of belonging. We strive to be an accessible, inclusive employer, removing barriers for all. Find out more about our approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, including our commitments and accreditations as a Disability Confident Employer, Stonewall Gold Award holder and Top 100 Employer, Athena SWAN Bronze Award holder and Race Equality Charter Bronze Award holder.
Informal enquiries are welcome, please contact Greig Gemmell (Data Returns Manager) via email: g.a.gemmell@hud.ac.uk
