About the role
The Bartlett School of Architecture is seeking to appoint a part-time Lecturer (Teaching) position in (MSci Architecture) on a 0.2 FTE.
The main duties and responsibilities for the MSci Year 1 + Year 2 Environmental Design Tutor role is to teach environmental design to students, encompassing topics including climate, life-cycle environmental sustainability considerations, thermal comfort, active and passive thermal, ventilation and lighting design strategies and acoustics. This will include teaching of fundamental building physics and other principles and approaches, investigation and discussion of differing environmental design strategies via the interrogation of relevant international case studies and supporting and advising students in the development of their coursework.

About you
The successful candidate will:
- be expected to teach and assess the subject of environmental design in architecture at a high academic and professional level, in such a way that helps students to integrate this into their design projects.
- liaise closely and positively with the MSci Programme Co-Directors, Technology Stream Director, Year 1 and Year 2 Coordinators, Module Leader and other Technology tutors in terms of developing and assessing the students’ environmental design coursework throughout the academic year.
