Background and role
An excellent opportunity to join our friendly team has opened up for an enthusiastic part-time lecturer in developmental psychology. We are looking for individuals with relevant and current experience to contribute to our range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You will contribute to our range of courses and in particular to our accredited BSc Psychology, MSc Psychology (conversion) and to our BSc Psychology with Education (under development), as well as contribute to other teaching related tasks, such as supervision. You will also engage in sustained scholarly and research activity as appropriate. Some experience of teaching in the University sector would be advantageous.
Any successful applicants will also contribute to other relevant on campus activities, including recruitment activities. Finally, the appointee will be expected to contribute to on-going curriculum development, as well as assume additional administrative roles, as appropriate.
The Person
Applicants should have a BPS accredited undergraduate degree and a psychology PhD or equivalent. For the Educational psychology lecturer experience of working in an educational setting would be advantageous.
