The Ethox Centre is an internationally-recognised multidisciplinary bioethics research centre located within Oxford Population Health in the University of Oxford. It is situated at the University’s Old Road Campus, giving it ready access to major medical research institutes such as the Clinical Trials Service Unit, the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health, and the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre.
We are seeking a Research Outreach Officer to join the ANTITHESES project team. You will be responsible to build relationships with external and internal colleagues and stakeholders, manage the day to day planning, organising and administration of outreach activities, and contribute towards the delivery of our Engaged Research Programme. You will be engaging effectively with a wide range of audiences including public, academic, healthcare practitioners, the museums and heritage sector, NGOs and policy-makers, in the UK and internationally.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience. You will have experience organising events for a public audience and familiarity with using digital media to engage with audience groups. You will also have excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills, with an ability to communicate clearly with a diverse range of people.
This is a full time (part time considered), fixed term for 3 years.
