Central is a conservatoire based in North London offering higher education and training in a range of specialisms: performance (acting, voice, movement); creative, design and production (theatre practice); and applied theatre.
The Technical & Production Department supports Student learning across the school, on both specialist Producing and other Programmes. The student experience is paramount and you will interact with Students with a range of existing skill levels and diverse learning needs.
We are seeking a Scenic Construction Manager – Technical Tutor to work in the Technical & Production Department’s Scenic workshops
The role is to provide school-wide Scenic support for a wide range of projects as well as delivering skills teaching sessions. You will be collaborating with students and professionals on productions and be responsible for managing equipment and supplies within the School’s Construction Workshop, Small Workshop and Props Workshop
Applicants must have a proven professional profile within the industry, with experience in a wide range of productions as well as an interest in working in an educational setting. We particularly welcome replies from professionals from Black and Global majority backgrounds.
