Brunel University Gym is looking for a dedicated Fitness Professional who will always strive to improve, be innovative and deliver high-quality sessions in order to help our gym members reach their exercise goals.
As a Fitness Instructor you will deliver gym inductions, fitness classes, training programmes and personal training sessions to our gym members. There will also be some daily administrative duties.
You will play a key part in ensuring members are able to enjoy a great workout, supported by the highest standards of gym hygiene and safety. Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do.
As part of the role, you will receive additional income for personal training sessions delivered and be required to work a shift pattern that includes weekends.
We are looking for someone who has proven communication and customer service skills. The individual must also have a positive, proactive and flexible approach to meeting the demands of a busy department. A sound knowledge of health and fitness is essential and a minimum of Level 2 Fitness Instructor certification or proof that you are working towards the completion of the course is required. A valid First Aid certificate would be an advantage.
