If so, the Ann Craft Trust wants to hear from you! The Ann Craft Trust is a national charity, based at the University of Nottingham and committed to safeguarding. Through our funding from Sport England we work with sports governing bodies, active partnerships and other system partners to ensure that the systems and approaches they have in place are effective at safeguarding adults.. 

This exciting post offers an opportunity to provide delivery of safeguarding advice and support to sport and recreation organisations in England, through training delivery, framework assessment reviews and relationship management. The successful candidate will ensure that the sports sector is addressing the safeguarding of all adults in sport, develop and deliver a training strategy and offer advice, information and support across sport and recreation. 

Candidates should have a relevant professional qualification and/or substantial vocational experience.  They should have good communication and organisational skills as well as experience of influencing strategic partners and stakeholders. A proven track record of working with adults and up to date knowledge of safeguarding adults approaches is required. Knowledge of the sports sector in England would be desirable. 

This post is offered on a part time (21.75 hours per week), fixed term contract to 31st March 2027. The post is offered as home working with a requirement for travel across England, including to the Ann Craft Trust offices in Nottingham and other venues to support the delivery of the contract.  This may include some overnight stays and some evening work to deliver some training.
