We are currently enhancing our King’s International Foundation Programme and are seeking an experienced educator to contribute to its continued development.
About the role:
King’s Foundations is looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Lecturer in Economics Education.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching highly capable and motivated international students on the King’s International Foundation, a one-year, RQF Level 3 programme for those intending to progress to undergraduate degrees at the university. They will enable students to achieve their potential and progress to King’s as independent, critical, and creative learners. They will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of the Business Management module and other similar modules such as Economics or Social Sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
This role will be joining King’s Foundations at an exciting time as we support our teaching staff to transfer over to Academic Education Pathway (AEP) contracts. The position is offered on an AEP contract, reflecting the nature of the role and providing a platform for excellence. The role will be subject to a probationary period of 3 years, in line with other academic roles at the College.
We welcome applications from individuals with a strong background in business education and experience in teaching international students.
This is a part-time post – 50% full time equivalent on an annualised basis working increased days per week (depending on fraction) during peak weeks for 39 weeks, and reduced days per week for 13 weeks of the off peak weeks of the year.
