University of Nottingham Sport are seeking to appoint an ambitious and highly-motivated Events and Bookings Officer to provide proactive sales, administration and coordination to help maximise usage and income generation across all University sports facilities.
You will have strong commercial acumen and key responsibilities include: building and managing relationships with customers to maximise repeat and new business, hosting facility tours and attending exhibitions to promote our offer, working collaboratively with the operations, catering and accommodation teams to coordinate event requirements and ensuring a seamless bookings and event customer experience. Additionally, the successful candidate will need to be flexible in their approach to their working week, noting that evening and weekend work will be required.
This position will play an important role in enabling the department to work efficiently, drive commercial income and support the achievement of the Vision for Sport, which is to be the best UK university for sport, physical activity and wellbeing
The role holder will be part of the Business Development team at University of Nottingham Sport.
This post is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours).
