Academically, The Courtauld is a specialist university and home to the largest community of art historians and conservators in the UK. We offer a diverse range of degree programmes in the History of Art, curating and the conservation of easel and wall paintings.
We are seeking an Assistant Librarian- Metadata Manager (ALMMa) for The Courtauld Library. As part of the library management team, the ALMMa contributes to setting and supervising our collective work to achieve the Institute’s goals. The ALMMA plays a critical role in the library by creating and optimising metadata, ensuring an accessible service where students, staff, an extensive network of researchers and visitors (often representing the culture industries) can find the right books, papers, articles, images, and other media for their academic pursuits.
Your responsibilities will involve:
Hours
9:30-5:30 Mon (7 hours) and 9:30-3:30 Tu-Wed (12 hours), 9:30-3:00 Th (5 hours) with 12:30-1:30 unpaid lunch M-W and 12:30-1:00 unpaid lunch Thursday;
or
9:30-5:30 Monday and Thursday (14 hours), 9:30-3:30 Tue-Wed (10 hours) with 12:30-1:30 unpaid lunch.
24 hours a week.
