Description of Post

The Assistant Lecturer will deliver modules in the area of Physiotherapy.

Appointment(s) may be on permanent / fixed term / pro-rata / part-time basis as required at Assistant Lecturer level. A panel will be created for any vacancies that may arise in the future.

Please note: The postholder will be based at the ATU Donegal, Letterkenny Campus.

Essential Qualifications

Minimum

  • Applicants must hold a An Honours degree (2.2 or higher) in Occupational Therapy at Level 8 degree as specified in the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ)] or equivalent.
  • Must be registered with CORU or HCPC
  • Three years relevant post-qualification experience.

Desirable

  • A postgraduate qualification at PhD level.
  • Experience of lecturing in a 3rd level environment.
  • Experience in the development of new programmes and curricular development.
  • Experience in the supervision of placements
  • Actively engaged in conducting research.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work in teams.
