The University of Glasgow has been changing the world for more than 573 years, and today we are one of the world's top 100 universities. We are delighted to have recently been awarded Scottish University of the Year by the Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024, demonstrating that we are not only one of the best universities in the United Kingdom, but one of the best universities for the world. Our people have always been at the forefront of innovation, and our past achievements inspire our current world changers.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal role as Finance Manager of a large-scale multi-partner change project – ‘InFrame’ (Inclusive Framework for Research Leadership). Housed within the Research Culture & Researcher Development portfolio at the University of Glasgow, the post-holder will work to coordinate a cross-university partnership (working with the Universities of Edinburgh and St Andrews) and play a leading role in the delivery of a 2-year strategic research culture enhancement project funded by Wellcome. Through this they will support each partner university’s ambitions to foster a positive research culture. This is an opportunity for a strategic manager to deliver this important project, and additionally to share best practice in research culture enhancement for the development of a sector level approach.
