- THE ROLE -
Based in the International Student Experience team, the postholder will provide front line support to international students before and during their studies. The postholder will work within a team providing specialist visa and immigration guidance for international students and their dependants, as well as assisting with the delivery of events for international students. As well as advising students face to face and by email, the postholder will contribute to drafting communications and supporting on-campus student events, ensuring that current and newly arrived students receive a world-class experience throughout their studies at the University.
- ABOUT YOU -
- A good standard of numeracy and literacy as demonstrated by qualification (including GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics) or by relevant work experience.
- Experience of working in an office environment and in a customer facing role.
- Experience in the use of MS Office software, and spreadsheet, database, and word processing software in an office environment.
- Experience of carrying out tasks with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Willingness to occasionally work outside of normal working hours, including occasional weekends, as required to meet the needs of the post.
- Experience of supporting students in a higher education environment. (Desirable)
