The Business School is seeking to appoint a Senior Course Enhancement Coordinator to work as part of our Student Experience Team and wider division of Professional Services. The team provide a wealth of support to our vibrant international community of students throughout their academic journey.
The role holder will work closely with the Director of Student Experience, Deputy Directors of Student Experience, Directors of Internationalisation, Assistant Education Manager (Engagement and Enhancement), faculty, members of staff, and students to deliver work and projects that support the Learn to Transform part of our strategy as well our internationalisation initiatives.
The Student Experience Team draws together the additional elements surrounding a students’ academic journey and has responsibility for supporting aspects such as community building initiatives, welcome/induction events, study trips, mentor programmes, reps and ambassadors, attendance monitoring, visa compliance, and incorporating the Student Voice.
The Senior Course Enhancement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating UK and international trips and activities. The role holder will also be responsible for activities, opportunities and initiatives that work towards building community with out student cohort ensuring the inclusion of the student voice. This will give the role holder an opportunity to have a positive and direct impact on a student’s experience of university, and may also contribute to better degree outcomes, help to build skills and enhance career prospects
The post-holder may be called upon to lend support to the other members of the Student Experience Team. This could include attendance at meetings and events that support the Learn to Transform strategy; providing students with accurate information and advice, and also contributing ideas to improve levels of student engagement.
