Job Description
Working within the Go Global Team, the Go Global Coordinator will support the Go Global team, with additional specific responsibilities around the promotion and administration of funding pots and summer school opportunities and updating and maintaining data bases for the team. This role will support the International Projects manager role with data collection and visualisation on ongoing projects.
About the Role
The Go Global Team works to support students with inbound and outbound international mobility and deliver a quality student experience at Bath Spa University.
Within the role you will support the Go Global Team with the promotion, marketing and outreach for all international activities involving both inbound and outbound students, new student mobility opportunities, and relationship management with Bath Spa’s international partners. The role will have special responsibilities around managing certain funding pots administered by the Go Global team. The role will be responsible for updating and maintaining the Go Global data bases, reviewing our partner universities offered courses each year, liaising with BSU colleagues around which courses we offer on exchange, creating and promoting summer school opportunities from within our existing partners. This role will support the International Projects manager role with data collection and visualisation on ongoing projects
All roles within the Go Global team are student facing, you will discuss with students the opportunities Go Global are promoting/recruiting for and guide students through the process. Using various channels to promote available international opportunities university-wide, to undergraduate, postgraduate and recent graduates.
About You
You will have experience of working in a role which is both customer- facing and administrative in nature and will easily manage a busy workload while responding to queries as they arise and will be able to adjust your daily work plan around this. You will be able to handle large volumes of data on programmes such as Excel, and translating this so that it is presented in an accessible way to others, as well as having a clear understanding on international relations activities or student opportunities outside of the curriculum.
You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment. You will thrive on challenges, enjoy variety in your work, and have a keen attention to detail. Flexibility, resilience, and a positive attitude toward change are essential.
