OMNES Education in London (OELS)
Located in the vibrant Marylebone area, OELS is seeking a motivated and highly organised new member to join our dynamic team of 12 employees.
OELS welcomes approximately 1,500 students every year and offers programmes in Business Management, Engineering, Communications, and Political Science.
We have historically acted as a study abroad campus and are now additionally planning to register with the Office for Students and develop New Degree Awarding Powers (NDAPs).

We are part of OMNES Education, a private multidisciplinary higher education and research group with institutions located all across Europe.
The group provides its 40,000 students the opportunity to study across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
The Role
This full-time position (we may consider from 0.6 FTE) offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a positive and forward-thinking team. The successful candidate is expected to:
- Design, teach, mark and provide constructive feedback for approximately 350 hours of English and communication modules per academic year across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (approx. 75% of the role)
- Lead academic/skills workshops
- Work as part of academic team to ensure excellent service delivery
- Support management with curriculum and module development
- Participate in boards and committees and help improve the student experience
- Monitor, evaluate, and assess individual student progress and achievement
- Deliver inclusive and high-quality teaching
- Fully engage with the quality assurance and improvement processes and procedures, including administrative matters
- Form part of the teaching observation team
- Hold office hours to support students
- Proofread key documents

- This role reports to the Director of Teaching & Learning
- This role has no management duties at present but has potential for growth
Person Specification
Essential:
- Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK
- Master’s in Applied Linguistics or equivalent
- CELTA or equivalent
- Commitment to CPD and excellence in learning and teaching
- Commitment to professionalism: reliable, flexible, and organised
- Ability to provide excellent, personalised support & feedback to students
- Excellent level of written and spoken English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent ability with Microsoft package and VLE
Desirable:
- DELTA or equivalent
- English Examiner experience e.g. IELTS
- Qualification in HE Teaching e.g. PG Cert in Learning & Teaching
- (S)FHEA
- External Examiner Experience
- Experience of Module Leadership
- Qualifications/Training in use of modern technology for pedagogy
- Extensive experience in an English HEI
Salary & Benefits
- £40,000 - £47,000 per annum pro-rata depending on qualifications and experience
- Daily lunch allowance worth £2,000 per year
