Head of School: Business and Service Industry

We are recruiting for a Head of School in the Business and Service Industry department.

We are looking for an inspirational leader who will challenge, develop and motivate teams and individuals to achieve excellence in all aspects of College targets. Emphasis will be placed on leadership, operational management, business innovation and promotion of continuous improvements in educational and financial outcomes to ensure student experience is of the highest quality.

It is expected from the post holders that they will have a contemporary and forward thinking approach to curriculum design.

If you are a leader who can inspire and motivate a team to attain good student outcomes and have a record of achieving consistently above national average outcomes levels within a FE setting then we would like to hear from you.

Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College Group (HRUC) and is one of London’s most successful Further Education Colleges providing education and training to 16-19 year old’s and adults from across Richmond, London and Surrey, for over 80 years. We have opened a new building in 2020 and due to develop a brand-new technology-focused STEM Centre for 2024.  

This exciting and innovative new learning environment is located within the grounds of the current college site, so remains convenient for public transport links – it is adjacent to the A316 and just a short walk from Twickenham rail station and a number of regular London bus routes.
