We are looking to recruit a talented Deputy Examinations Manager. You will be managing a team of 150+ casual invigilation staff to deliver the main examination sessions in December and May as well as the resit and other small examination sessions throughout the year. You will be assisting the Examinations Manager to ensure examination sessions run smoothly as well as supervising 3 administrative staff during exam sessions. You will be well organised, able to deliver to deadlines and maintain high standards.
You will take specific responsibility for the financial administration for both the Examinations and Timetabling teams using the finance software E5 to manage orders and maintain accurate up to date financial records for the office. You will have a high attention to detail, able to respond to immediate finance requests and maintain accurate financial records. You will be processing the Invigilator claim forms for Payroll for processing ensuring claim forms correspond to University regulations.
This role will require onsite working for exam sessions, and the lead up to exams where required. The rest of the year, the role would be agile working, with 2 days per week at home, 3 days per week on campus.
This is a permanent, full time post, but consideration will be given for a 0.8FTE appointment.
