The post is situated in the University of Greenwich’s School of Design and is part of the highly successful and vibrant Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The School delivers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; including #Architecture, #Animation, #Media, #GraphicDesign, #LandscapeArchitecture.
We are seeking a Lecturer (AC2) in Animation and Design (Maternity Cover) to join the Design Portfolio. The successful candidate will be an outstanding and inspiring Animation and Design practitioner who has commitment and passion for the student experience and work well across multidisciplinary teams.
To complement the current team’s academic portfolio/s, we are particularly interested in applicants with knowledge of teaching Animation and Design. Experience of art and design theories and practices; animation and design studio teaching experience; the ability to teach specific advanced skills and knowledge; expertise with print technologies and animation techniques (analogue and digital).
The post holder will take on the responsibility of Module Leadership, undertaking the associated administration and quality assurance related to the delivery of specified modules and will involve teaching, assessment, pastoral and academic support to students. The successful candidate will engage in activities to support the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) and professional practice across the subject area and contribute to the research profile of the school.
