An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Glasgow Changing Futures (GCF) Senior Manager to join the University’s Research and Innovation Services directorate.
The GCF Senior Manager is an exciting leadership role, created to support ‘Glasgow Changing Futures’ (GCF) a new programme for the University of Glasgow, representing our commitment to integrating our strengths in research, innovation, knowledge exchange, education, economic development, civic and public engagement and partnerships to drive collective action and collaborative impact for societal challenges locally, nationally and globally.
About the role
The GCF Senior Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the GCF professional services team, leading strategic project work and reporting, with a significant contribution to shaping service delivery and the strategic direction of the overall programme. The scope and impact of the role is University-wide, working in close partnership with the both the academic and research support communities and external partners.
The GCF Senior Manager will report to the Challenge Programmes Director and collaborate closely with the GCF Director, the wider GCF leadership team, the Executive Director of Research Services, the Senior Manager of Strategic Research Initiatives, as well as colleagues and senior leaders across the University and externally.

We are seeking a strategic influencer, experienced in people and project management, who can play a crucial role in delivering excellence, engaging productively internally and externally, anticipating developments and responding effectively to these with initiatives that enhance the University’s reputation and secure effective delivery of GCF’s ambitions and priorities.
