An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lifeguard/Sports Assistant to join the Sportspark and be responsible for lifeguarding the pool, supervising and maintaining the indoor and outdoor dry side facilities of the complex, ensuring a safe, quality environment for our customers at all times.
Undertaking Lifeguarding and other poolside duties is a key aspect of this role. Other duties include setting up, putting down and maintaining equipment, supporting reception in busy periods, undertaking cleaning, maintenance and administrative duties.
You will have a good standard of secondary education or experience in a directly relevant role along with an RLSS NPLQ and First Aid at Work Certificate or be able to achieve these within three months of appointment. You must be a competent swimmer, have experience in providing customer service, be able to multitask and have the ability to effectively follow written and verbal instructions. Experience of working in the leisure industry, being responsible for dry side facilities and an interest in sport activities would be beneficial.
This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
