The role
Bristol Veterinary School is seeking to appoint a full time Research Co-ordinator, with experience in research administration, to work with Dr Emily Blackwell and the research team on the ‘Bristol Cats’ longitudinal cohort study.

What will you be doing?
The post holder will contribute to this on-going study, working alongside the Research Administrator to provide administrative support to the project lead. Specifically, they will be responsible for overseeing data collection, monitoring questionnaire completion figures, preparing summary data and disseminating outputs for the project. In addition to general office duties, other responsibilities will include updating website content; contacting veterinary practices to obtain client records; dealing with enquiries from study participants, students and researchers; cataloguing and storing biological samples; and assisting with research report preparation.
You should apply if
Applicants should have experience in a similar academic administrative role; an understanding of research methods; be able to work independently, as well as part of a small collaborative team; have excellent communication and organisational skills; and have a good level of competency with Excel databases. Experience with online survey platforms such as REDCap and marketing platforms such as Mailchimp would also be an advantage.
