About the role
The Faculty of Social Science is seeking to appoint maternity cover for the role of Assistant Operations Manager. This is a great opportunity to work in a developing role working closely with colleagues across the Faculty whilst having specific responsibilities in the School of Global Studies based in ArtsC. The successful candidate will support the implementation of a range of operations activities and manage a small school based professional services team.
About you
The post-holder will work with colleagues across all divisions of the university to support key processes in the remit of school operations including enquiries, governance, compliance, finance, HR, building management, H&S & events.
It is a varied role requiring multi-tasking, initiative, and flexibility. The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, is essential. This role would suit applicants with experience of working within a higher education environment.
